How to Throw an Unforgettable 4th of July Party for Kids

There’s nothing quite like celebrating the 4th of July with family, friends, and plenty of festive fun!

Every year, I love putting together a special party for the kids, one filled with exciting games, easy crafts, and delicious red, white, and blue treats.

Whether you’re hosting a backyard bash or a small get-together, creating a magical experience for little ones doesn’t have to be stressful. If you’re planning well in advance (I do every year!), I’ve pulled together over 20 ideas to help you throw an unforgettable bash this July.

4th July Kids Party Ideas

1.Stars and Stripes Sharing Smores Board

Sharing boards, family style is one of my favorite ways to host a kids party. Create an easy Stars and Stripes theme by layering with marshmallows, graham crackers, raspberries, and blue and white themed sweets and biscuits.

Don’t forget to match with stars and stripes plates – these disposable plates from Amazon are awesome!

2. Fun Star Decorations

It’s all about decorations! There’s no such thing as going over the top with 4th July decorations, in my opinion!

I adore these sweet star shaped balloon decor accessories on the walls, carry the colors through to the table for a cohesive feel.

3. Red, White & Blue Floral Bouquets

I adore this sweet floral bouquet idea of using red and white striped popcorn boxes for the vases. You could even use faux flowers here that could be used again and again, year after year.
