Our Story

Committed to keeping your baby bears snuggly, warm and dressed in clothing that is sustainable and kind to babies skin.

Bjarni meaning bear in Norwegian was a fusion between our Scandic heritage and time spent living in these beautiful Scandinavian countries. With a Norwegian heritage and a year spent in Finland, this drove us to create a brand that was centred on simplicity, sustainability and ultimately, beautiful baby clothing.

Superior Softness

We have a strong belief in sustainable development of baby clothing. All of our baby clothing is GOTS certified. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

What does this mean in our baby clothing? No chemical dying or chemical processing is used in the production of our clothing. This means that the organic cotton is used in its purest form. Organic cotton is soft and gentle on babies skin. As our material is soft and free from chemicals and dyes, there is less chance of your child developing skin conditions such as eczema.
